Buy a cd with him and I assure you that he will most certainly not disappoint you. Lang Lang is in my opinion no ideal interpreter of Chopin's music. He simply lacks the right touch. I consider Krystian Zimerman to be the most proficient interpreter of Chopin's music. At times it sounds more like Beethoven than Chopin. His disrespect of Chopin's musical notation is really annoying.
